The hotel staff at Hosteria La Posta Del Cazador were incredibly accommodating when I arrived early and allowed me to store my luggage until check-in. The location was perfect, close to the lake and town. The room was clean and comfortable, offering a cozy stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant visit.

I will put it in two languages, because in Spanish can get hard for me sometimes. Voy a ponerlo en dos idiomas porque es mas facil para mi. EnglishÑ I have done it all, the 5 stars hotel, the 4, the 3, hosterias, and I hae also done tha backpacking thing. I have travelled a lot, but of all those hotels/hosterias I have been, to me, La Posta del Cazador is the best one. When you go, you have to be realistic, it is not a five stars hotel, or a resort that you find in luxuious beach, and it was never meant to be. For a place like San Martin de los Andes, this is the best place that can be because it totally relates to the city. It is lovely, traditional, friendly with a great atmosphere and wonderful service. The people I met are the best! They are absolutely beautiful. I fell in love with the hosteria and even though I knew they would be friendly, I never expected they were as amazing as they actually are. Nacho, Lucas, and Ruben are amazing! I never felt like I was talking to the staff of ahosteria but it feel more like if I was always interacting with friends and family. This time I was travelling with my mother...and they made her days lovely too! La Posta del Cazador rocks! That will always be my choice! I will be back there for sure!

Sitting outside at a nearby pub we enjoyed the good location of the hotel as it was very close to the lake and ferries, perfect for a day trip. the room was spacious and the heating worked perfectly. Breakfast was quite good as well and there was free parking.
The bathroom was old and poorly maintained.

Location is great, close to lacar Lake and shopping area. Delicious breakfast. Staff is the best. Small town feel and wonderful people. Amazing staff. Perfect location between the beach and downtown area. Highly recommend staying here. Beautifully located close to the lake. Spacious rooms with lots of closet space. Best breakfast in SA.
Nothing not to love.

the breakfast offered was a highlight, with a good variety and delicious options to choose from.
The poor wifi connection, and we had to go downstairs to the lobby to have a reliable internet connection. we felt that the bed could have been more comfortable, and it affected our sleep.

During my Christmas break, I stayed in a lovely alpine lodge, which was located right in the heart of a small town. I loved how everything was within walking distance, including restaurants, shops, and the lake. The breakfasts were amazing, with plenty of good quality and tasty dishes served on the table. The staff was very friendly and kind, giving us useful information about the town and nearby attractions. there was a private parking area that was free and easily accessible.
Being an old building, the lodge was a bit noisy in the bedroom. The rooms were a bit tired, with outdated decor that might not be to everyone's tastes.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
